Ben Tolsky is a recent graduate from the Illinois Institute of Technology's
Master of Architecture program. While there he took up an interest in 3D
modeling, both physical and digital. He also became extremely interested
in the field of animation. His thesis wound up being a sixteen minute
animation featuring the design of The Intrepid Penguin Lodge at Shackleton
Station, an Antarctic research station that contains Antarctica's first
hotel. The animation can be viewed on this web site.
Prior to attending IIT, Ben spent 5 years at Valence Health working as a
web developer and actuary. He has a BS from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign with a double major in Math and Philosophy, and while
there spent a year on exchange at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
Ben loves to travel and has been to over 50 countries. He also is an avid
underwater hockey player, a sport he began playing while at U of I. He
enjoys snowboarding and is a diehard Cubs fan.
Ben is currently looking for a job. If you are impressed with this design
portfolio please contact Ben. He is willing to do anything from a little
freelance work to a full-time job. He can do anything from architectural
